Hall Chapel Ministries


The purpose is service. Deacons serve as Armor bearers for the Pastor, minister with the Pastor to the sick and shut in and provide care to the members of the entire church family.

The purpose is to actively support our spouses, the ministry and members of the church and community. Deaconesses are to carry out duties as directed by the Pastor and to let our “Light Shine Daily” as we grow spiritually in the Lord.

The purpose is to spiritually maintain all church properties and oversee all financial transactions of the church.

Senior Ushers:
The purpose is to provide spiritual service to the Pastor and congregation as gate keepers of the church. Ushers greet members and visitors and maintain perfect order during worship services.

Pastor’s Aide:
The purpose is to meet the need of our spiritual leader as he continues to receive the direction and assurance of God’s word for God’s children. As we grow, we will continue to bring all our tithes into the storehouse, that there may be spiritual food in God’s house!

Senior Citizen:
The purpose is to provide speakers on various topics, sponsor field trips, and to fellowship with the pastor. Our Senior Citizens ministry is for individuals ages 65 and older.

The purpose is to promote an inviting and comfortable environment in which we invite others to fellowship with our church family. To greet visiting pastors and ministers with a token of love. Also coordinate the back to school rally.

Bible Study:
To provide weekly classes designed to enhance members’ knowledge and understanding of God’s word.

Sunday School:
To provide meaningful Bible study that results in winning souls to Christ.

New Members Orientation:
To provide new members the doctrines and beliefs of the Baptist Church, as well as the principles and autonomy of Hall Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Rifraf Ministry- Reading Is Fun, Rithmetic Ain't Fun Tutorial Ministry:
To provide assistance in the academic areas and preparation for standardized tests. All students needing remediation or enrichment in math, reading and languages are encouraged to attend.

I Can't But I Know Who Can Ministry- Referral Ministry:
The ministry's responsibility is to assist the members with locating resources that will fit their need, rather it is a local service or a broader national search. Some of the referrals may include but are not limited to housing, child care and employment. The overall objective is to provide guidance and support to ease the stress of dealing with life's challenges.

Enlarge My Territory Ministry- Seek Land And/Or Facility
The purpose is to seek new land acquisition opportunities so that the church may expand to the glory of God’s kingdom.

The purpose is to go out into the world to win souls and initiate people into the family of God a transforming them into vessels through whom Christ expresses Himself on the earth.

Outreach Ministry:
The purpose is to minister to inmates incarcerated behind prison walls, preaching and teaching the Gospel and winning souls to Christ.

The purpose is provide a focused outreach to the young men in our church and the community.

The purpose is to provide tasty, nutritious and healthy meals to our church family and community.

Van Ministry:
The purpose is to provide transportation to attend church services and other scheduled events.

Hall Chapel is located at the intersection of Interstate 20 (exit 39) and Fairview Road (US Highway 178) in the Sandhill Community of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina across the street from Mr. B’s Exxon station.

Join us every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. for Sunday school and 10:00 a.m. for Worship Services.
